Desert Rain Frog Emblem
The second project is creating a unique mascot emblem design. For this project, my concept was a desert rain frog nomad. As always, it started with creating study sketch es of my animal. Then, we proceeded to create cartoon and simplified versions of our animals. More sketches were made for the overall emblem design, plus elements that would fit the role of a nomad. After the final revisions, we created a vectorized version in Illustrator and then put the design on a T-shirt mockup.

Catacoustics Poster
For the third project, we had to choose a scientific area of study and use images, patterns, and text to create imagery of that study. I chose the word “Catacoustics,” which means the science of echoes or reflected sounds. We started creating unique fonts and patterns that would reflect our word’s meaning. Then, in Photoshop, we treated the text with different effects and composited many images, creating a poster that would represent the area of study we chose.
